I figure things out. As a senior engineer who works the entire stack of mobile and web applications, I turn complex requirements and data into intuitive user experiences. I am curious and easy to excite about new problems, take ownership and responsibility, and actually find solutions for them. I have many years of experience collaborating in fully remote teams, with my home currently being the roads of Europe, where I am traveling with my self-built van to ride bikes all year.

  • React Native mobile app with 1,700+ users for overlaying Strava data onto photos and videos.
  • The one-stop shop for making data shine in social media posts with awesome designs, customizations and media editing built in.
  • The app is built with React Native, Expo, TypeScript, React Native Skia, RevenueCat and powered by the Strava API. I own the entire process from designing in Figma to building, shipping, and marketing the app.

Komate komate.app

  • React Native mobile app for calculating pacing strategies for Strava segments.
  • Combining complex data inputs and calculations, based on rider information, physics, weather, and segment data, into an intuitive user experience. Built it with a co-founder on React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Mapbox, and the Strava API.

Full-Stack Developer, Manta MarineRemote (Gothenburg)

2020–2025

  • Full-stack developer for the vessel optimization team, working with React and TypeScript, Kotlin, Spring, and PostgreSQL. Over time most of my work moved to the frontend.
  • Worked on the RoutePilot AI feature, shaping the requirements, designing the UI in Figma, and taking the feature all the way into production.
  • Rebuilt performance analytics from basic charts to an advanced filtering and visualization tool for analyzing vessel performance.

2018–2020

  • As part of the graduate program, I got to know the entirety of the Volvo Group and learned about the challenges of working across different cultures. I worked on chatbots in C# on Azure and tooling for service management in ServiceNow, to help distribute knowledge across the organization.

Van conversion

  • Designed and built a fully autonomous, stealth van from SketchUp models to my finished home for the past 3 years.
  • 18 months of resolving conflicting requirements, impossible limitations, unforeseen hurdles, and learning new practical skills daily.

  • Open-source browser extension for 3,000+ users, making a Counter-Strike league platform's lacking UI actually usable.
